Eucharistic Ministers are called upon to serve St. Mary's Parish in two ways: first, they are assigned to assist the celebrant with the distribution of the Eucharist at liturgy according to a rotating schedule. Second, those who indicate their willingness, are asked to bring the Eucharist to the homebound upon request.

Eucharistic Ministers are requested to dress properly and show up at least 15 minutes before Mass in the rear of the Church so they can process in with the Altar Servers, Lectors and Priest.

New Eucharistic Ministers are recruited annually during the season of Lent. Candidates wishing to serve in this capacity must be confirmed, practicing Catholics. Training and schedules are provided. Those interested are invited to fill out a designated form and return it to the Rectory or in the Sunday collection basket.
